BacktoB

A first easy step for your CSRD compliance!

Project description

Did you know? With the entry into force of the Green Deal and the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), large companies and soon SMEs must adapt their non-financial reporting to environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

To achieve this, BacktoB offers an innovative solution to capture biogenic carbon dioxide using BECCS ( Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage) technology.
This approach allows for certified carbon storage, helping companies meet the requirements of new environmental regulations.

Biomass, an abundant resource throughout the year (unfortunately also after storms and floods), then becomes an asset. The modus operandi is therefore local, seasonal. A project to the rhythm of nature and its seasons! 🌱🌞

Profile

Joining BacktoB means being part of an ecosystem where there is knowledge to cross, to acquire, to share. 🐝

If you have one or even more of the technical skills listed below and share my passion for sustainability, send me your application!

Here are some of the areas of interest and knowledge sought:

  • Mechanical and hydraulic to improve develop the equipment envisaged

  • Logistics and transport with local, seasonal operations

  • Commercial aspects and negotiation of (multi-year) contracts with key accounts, local authorities

  • Biodiversity (how to increase plantings upstream, the efficiency of their maintenance,... And try to measure the impact on biodiversity through the use of drones, AI,..).

  • Understanding of energy balances, carbon footprint for operations ... Low carbon

By joining me, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project that can have a huge impact on the community and the environment. 💚

Why this project?

  • I want to create a team where men and women can fully develop and perform all functions in an equitable manner. My ambition is to build an inclusive work environment, where everyone has the opportunity to make a contribution.

  • The business plan is being finalised and my objective is to guarantee a secure remuneration for everyone from the start. As a start-up, I am convinced that incentive plans will build loyalty and motivation for a strong team in the long term.

  • I prefer to invest time and skills, rather than money, with a minimal financial contribution. The equipment will be gradually acquired and improved to be easily transportable, and training will be organized so that everyone can improve their skills and master the necessary tools.

By launching this project, I want to bring together committed people, ready to make a difference, in an adventure where every contribution counts, with the common goal of building a more sustainable future! 🌍

Commitments to a sustainable world

  • The project aims to mobilise "run-of-the-mill" biomass that is usually thrown away, burned and abandoned to convert it into carbon dioxide capture and storage potential. 🌱

  • Certified as "carbon sinks", these biomasses, after thermal conversion (pyrolysis), are traded on the CO2 equivalent market (ETS2) with companies seeking to reduce their carbon footprint.

  • These certified "carbon sinks" are an (easy, perhaps temporary) first step to enable companies and even local authorities to ensure their compatibility with CSRD and "climate" bonds.

  • The operations will be very local, possibly carried out by autonomous teams in regions "rich" in biomass.

About the Founder

BacktoB - Meet My Job

Patrick by Jamblinne

Cofounder

The objective that drives me and that I wish to co-develop is the valorization of "all-purpose" biomass, in particular the ability to store CO2 by photosynthesis. 🌾
The Green Deal, the CSRD obligations, and biogenic carbon capture and storage (BECCS) are regulatory and regulated assets that allow for economic development.
The process for obtaining carbon storage is a bit technical (pyrolysis), very local, seasonal with a contribution to climate resilience and, above all, a component of improving the biomass potential of territories that are currently of low value (motorways, banks,..) but of great interest for biodiversity, which I also want to defend. 🦋
