Job description

As an administrative employee at the emergency reception, you play a key role in ensuring a smooth reception and care for patients and their loved ones!

Your responsibilities:

🌟 Welcome and guide patients as soon as they arrive to reassure and guide them.
📂 Manage administrative procedures by creating or completing emergency files.
📣 Inform patients about the stages of their care, as well as the care team for optimal coordination.
🚑 Organize transport and manage contacts with mutual insurance companies.
📋 Finalize files and follow up on invoicing.

 Participate in quality care and make a difference every day!

Specificities of the position:

  • Variable day and night hours

  • 2 positions are to be filled: 1 full-time 1-year fixed-term contract and 1 full-time permanent contract

Profile

🎓 Qualifications and experience

  • Graduate degree in humanities with proven experience in administrative management, ideally in a hospital setting.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English orally.

💼 Essential Skills

  • Ability to collaborate across business lines to achieve common goals.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a rigorous organization.

  • Clear communication and adaptability to the interlocutors.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change; calm and composure in an emergency situation.

  • Discretion in the handling of confidential information.

Additional assets

  • Knowledge of an additional language.

  • Experience in administrative management in a hospital setting.
