Job description
As a POPS (Post Operative Pain Service) nurse, you play a key role in improving the management of acute post-operative pain, in compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
Your missions:
Ensure the follow-up of patients under analgesic technique, in close collaboration with the anesthesiologist dedicated to the POPS
Assess the pain and effectiveness of prescribed analgesic treatments, identify side effects or adverse effects in patients receiving these techniques as well as when they are stopped
Participate in the organization and coordination of the follow-up of patients under analgesic techniques, in close collaboration with the anesthesiologist dedicated to the POPS
Identify and identify, in the care units, problems related to analgesia and refer them to the anesthesiologist in charge of the POPS and the acute pain resource nurses of the units concerned
Profile
Qualifications and experience required:
You have a bachelor's degree in nursing
You have 5 years' experience in a surgical department, day hospital, operating room, recovery or intensive care unit
You have a perfect knowledge of French (level B2)
