Job description

As an engineering teacher, you contribute to the development of the mechanical and electromechanical axis in our training offer to prepare future engineers to design, analyze and develop mechanical and electromechanical devices.

With our young and dynamic teaching team, you will implement innovative learning pedagogical methods in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, on the UCL campus a stone's throw from the Alma metro station, in order to train students in project management and the specific and transversal skills required of an engineer. 👩 🏫✨

All of this is part of a transformation of our curriculum, in order to meet the socio-ecological challenges to be met in the years to come, in accordance with the sustainable development goals decreed by the UN. 🌱

Profile

Have you worked in the private and/or public sector (or similar experience) in mechanical design and eco-design with prototype production and would you like to work in teaching? Do you like to carry out a project from a customer need to the manufacture of a real model? Are continuous learning, teamwork and sharing your knowledge values that speak to you? Then this position is for you! 🤩

👉 Skills required:

  • Mechanical and electromechanical design and eco-design.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoDesk suite, Solidworks or equivalent).

  • Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and oral.

👌 Assets taken into account in the application :

  • Interest in linking theory and practical approach.

  • Comparable experience in the disciplines mentioned above.

  • Willingness to develop medium-term expertise in the areas mentioned above.

  • Interest in pedagogy and training in Haute Ecole.

  • Interest in participating in collective projects, research, development and service to society.
