Generous is an artisanal, organic and gluten-free biscuit factory founded in 2013 and located in Tubize (on the outskirts of Brussels).
It produces and markets a range of delicious biscuits in Belgium and abroad. Its 10 members work together on the innovation of new biscuits and the successful development of this human-sized company while keeping in mind the Generous values: conviviality, zero-waste, gluten-free and generosity!
They select the best ingredients from mainly local producers. No soy, corn or wheat at Generous, but alternatives such as tapioca flour, buckwheat flour or potato starch.

Anecdote: "In December 2018 we had the chance to partner with Stromae for the launch of his clothing brand! A packet of Generous cookies was offered with each new purchase of a garment. A taste of the team
Being on a human scale, all Generous members know each other on a first-name basis, thus creating a real friendly and family atmosphere. In addition, they are particularly attentive to their environmental impact: zerowaste is their motto and they are always looking to reduce their waste. It is in this sense that they donate the surplus and unsold products to charities so that their delicious broken cookies still enjoy being eaten!
Every day the team has lunch together, preferably outdoors to enjoy the good weather (even if rare in Belgium...). Each birthday, departure or arrival of a member of the team is a good excuse to get together for a festive aperitif in the company garden!

Our commitments to a sustainable world
They are primarily aimed at gluten-free and organic gourmets, but there is something for everyone!
Their biscuits are bagged by the Travie association, a sheltered workshop that contributes to the integration of people with disabilities by offering them useful and remunerative work.
Also, the company attaches great importance to the fight against food waste. Imperfect cookies are donated to local charities.
