Learn more about us

GR'EAT granola is a food start-up founded in 2015 by Amélie with a passion for raising awareness about eating responsibly towards the planet and for your own well-being. With her acquired values around nature and nutrition, as well as her experience in permaculture in Colombia, Amélie embarked on the GR'EAT granola adventure by making recipes based on organic and gluten-free ingredients, which were going to be produced by hand in her workshop in Kortenberg.

Today, GR'EAT is a thriving start-up with 10 people, including 4 workers who produce granola by hand every day. Our range consists of 6 delicious sweet granolas and 2 innovative savory flavors for salads, soups, aperitifs.... Our products are sold in multiple points of sale in Belgium: Delhaize, Bio Planet, Delitraiteur, The Barn, Färm, Sequoia... as well as in a multitude of independent organic shops and at several HoReCa partners.

In 2022, GR'EAT is preparing for big changes and big surprises (teaser: move to more spacious offices & range extension!). It's a great year to join our team of enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated talents!

Our commitments to a sustainable world

In addition to craftsmanship and the careful selection of their ingredients according to the impact on the planet, the well-being of producers and the well-being of consumers, each of their decisions is taken in a process of limiting the ecological footprint (e.g. choice of packaging, choice of delivery company, electricity, etc.).

Their granola is carefully packaged in a sheltered workshop, employing people with disabilities or in the process of reintegrating into society.

Gr'Eat Granola pays a percentage of its sales to "MamaBW" (accommodation for women in social distress who are pregnant and/or accompanied by children) as well as to "Vie d'enfants" (support for the education and schooling of underprivileged children around the world) and "Hocus Pocus" (construction of a swimming pool adapted for people with reduced mobility).

They support associations and teams with GR'EAT products: Handicap International running the 20 km of Brussels for the benefit of the association, Zonta Gent supporting the empowerment of women around the world, Basisschool Hertog Jan promoting health in schools, Enfants du juge organizing youth camps and the Brussels Hospitals to motivate the teams during the COVID-19 pandemic.
