Event Collaborator

You promote cycling and the discovery of cycling in Brussels within the Tourism & Events department (TourEvent). You work in collaboration with the project managers by providing operational and logistical support to projects such as Bike Experience, EuroVelo, Vollenbike, Bike Exchange, Bike talks, etc.

You are under 26 years old, you are registered as a job seeker and have not obtained your CESS.

Your tasks

• Management of registrations for our events, in collaboration with the project coordinator, in particular for the Bike Experience, Quartier Apaisé à vélo, Families on Bike projects...  : communication with participants, phone calls before events, sending practical information, managing the mailbox, etc. ;

• Assistance in the logistical preparation of our events : equipment, catering, room reservations, note-taking, issuing invitations, requesting authorizations from the competent authorities (police, municipality, etc.), looking for partners for the programming or communication of activities, event implementation plan, etc. ;

• Other one-off requests such as cargo bike delivery;

• Participation in Pro Velo events in the evenings and weekends (on an ad hoc basis), in particular with the holding of a Pro Velo stand;

• Active participation in the life of the non-profit organisation and in the TourEvent department.

• You are under 26 years old, you are registered as a job seeker with Actiris and have not obtained your CESS (mandatory conditions).

• Curious and resourceful, you want to learn.

• You are organized and rigorous or you are ready to be !

• Working alone is not your thing, you want to be able to count on and exchange with your team.

• You are willing to work regularly in the evenings or on weekends.

• If you use the bike for travel or sports, this is a plus.

• If you've already worked on events, that's a plus.

• You have basic computer knowledge or are ready to develop it.

• Speaking Dutch and/or English is a very very appreciated asset.
