Do you want to work as a bike mechanic in a cycling association? 🚲✨ Pro Velo develops customized solutions to facilitate and strengthen the transition to cycling and thus contribute to a better quality of life.
We are looking for someone to join our workshop in Brussels, consisting of 4 mechanics and a workshop coordinator.
More specifically, we are looking for a mechanic with experience as a trainer in bicycle mechanics to supervise and support our apprenticeship bicycle technicians.
Your tasks:
🚲 Formation
Supervision and training of apprenticeship bicycle technicians;
Responsible for the training cycle for individuals.
🔧 General
Repairs of different types of bicycles (muscular, electric, cargo, longtail, folding, etc.) ;
Maintenance of bicycle fleets;
Workshops and mechanical training in companies ;
Deliveries of bicycles by van and/or cargo bike;
Participation in events (occasional evening or weekend work);
Participation in team meetings;
Support for all the actions and projects carried out by the establishment.
Profile
You have the following experience and skills:
You have a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in bicycle mechanics.
You are able to repair and maintain all types of bikes (muscular, electric, etc.).
You are able to organize a workshop and manage a stock.
You are in possession of a category B driving licence. 🚗
You have knowledge of basic computer tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
You have the following qualities:
You are dynamic and educational, you want to learn and share your knowledge.
You have a proactive approach and like to work in a team.
You are reliable, punctual, organized and rigorous.
You are concerned with active mobility and environmental issues. 🌱
You are willing to work occasionally in the evening or on weekends.
