Job description
You will manage the day-to-day accounting of Vias institute and its various related entities.
Depending on the deadlines, you carefully plan the tasks to be done. You prepare VAT returns.
You are responsible for the preparation and execution of periodic closings and carry out the audit of the balance sheet accounts.
Your experience allows you to propose optimizations. You are up to date with the new accounting digitizations.
Occasional accounting and administrative tasks don't put you off.
You work closely with your colleagues and external staff (your accounting colleague, external consultants, auditor, suppliers, etc.); You are a team player and can work independently.
You report to the Director of Operations.
Profile
You have a degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
You are eager to learn, have a positive attitude and work meticulously. In addition, you have an analytical mindset.
You have a constructive critical attitude and are solution-oriented.
You think pragmatically about process efficiency and digitalization.
You speak Dutch perfectly and you are fluent in French and English.
You have gained experience in an environment made up of different entities and diverse products and services. Experience with different VAT regimes and subsidy applications is a plus.
Knowledge of Easi's Adfinity is an asset.
