Payroll Advisor

The Vias Institute is a national knowledge centre focused on road safety, safety and mobility. To achieve our goals, we have a nice and creative marketing team in-house that is currently looking for a new colleague: a Payroll Advisor.

Task Set:

As a Payroll Advisor, you are responsible for managing the payroll of the Vias Institute and its associated entities. You are an expert in payroll administration laws and regulations and ensure that all taxes and social security contributions are correctly calculated and paid.

Responsibilities:

• Salary processing, including allowances and any deductions;

• Accurate and timely payment of wages;

• Keep up to date with Belgian laws and regulations relating to payroll administration;

• To deal with employees' questions regarding salary and other related matters;

• Collaborate with the HR department to ensure that payroll processes run smoothly;

• Prepare reports and documents for internal and external audits.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance or related field;

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;

• In-depth knowledge of Belgian legislation on payroll administration and social security;

• Experience with payroll software and excellent knowledge of MS Office and in particular Excel;

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written, ideally in French and Dutch;

• Ability to work independently.
