We are looking for a Chief Business Development Officer who will play a crucial role in developing business opportunities and increasing revenues to support the sustainable growth of our social mission.

Responsibilities and duties

As Head of Business Development, your role will be varied:

  • With our CEO, work on the development of our revenue model

  • Take the initiative to identify and develop possible opportunities that meet the needs of the market. 

  • Research, prospect companies to sell BeCode's B2B services (upskilling/ reskilling/ internships/talent placement) and look for partnership opportunities.

  • Promote BeCode's services and talent pool to current and potential partners

  • Negotiate to conclude contracts with customers and partners.

  • Provide feedback and align with the national strategy with the CEO.

  • Maintain customer records and contracts in the company's CRM and pipeline

  • Participate in the design of SLAs and customer processes

  • Represent BeCode in various events and networking opportunities

  • Lead and manage the business development team 

  • Actively participate in Board meetings as a key member of the executive team.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you have a deep understanding and proven experience in contract negotiation and sales processes, as well as partner management. And most importantly, you want to help other people (re)launch their careers!

You are/have:

  • +10 years of proven experience in business development (ideally in a recruitment/placement agency or in the HR sector) or in a similar role oriented towards sales development, with an extensive B2B network.

  • Great ability to understand and anticipate business needs and match them to our services.

  • Exceptional negotiation, contract management and public relations skills.

  • A commitment to customer service excellence, with a solution-oriented mindset to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build relationships with customers, staff, and our learners.

  • Ideally, excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English and a good knowledge of French.

  • Structured and organized.

  • Comfortable with technology and digital tools for a variety of tasks ; Experience with the Google Suite workspace.

  • Knowledge of the IT/Digital sector is an asset.

  • Experience in the outplacement, talent, recruitment or temporary work sector is also an asset.
