Specializing in ready-to-eat products, the company offers a wide range of smoothies, salads, breads, wraps, hot dishes and pastries. With offices in Brussels, Liège and Antwerp, BON is expanding rapidly and is looking to strengthen its team. Every day, our central kitchen prepares and delivers dishes to our internal and external customers.

In order to optimize the management of flows, we are recruiting our Logistics Coordinator / Warehouse Clerk 🤩

🍏 Purpose of the Function

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Logistics Coordinator / Storekeeper ensures the fluidity and reliability of the flows in and out of the central kitchen. He/she is at the heart of the management of orders, stocks and deliveries, guaranteeing optimal coordination between the various players in the central kitchen. He/she is the direct manager of a team of 5 people (4 delivery people and 1 logistics assistant) and collaborates closely with the production teams.

🍎 Key Responsibilities

Management of customer orders (internal and external):

• Receive and consolidate orders from internal and external customers in the systems.

• Communicate production volumes and forecasts to the different areas of the kitchen.

Order and stock management:

• Place orders for goods according to production forecasts and applying good logistics practices (stock rotation, needs, dry stocks, use-by date, etc.). 📝

• Monitoring production volumes to ensure optimal stock at all times: anticipating needs to avoid shortages and overstocks.

• Ensure good storage conditions (negative, positive and dry) and compliance with HACCP rules for these storage areas

Receipt and control of goods:

• Receive deliveries in accordance with HACCP rules.

• Check the quality and quantity of goods received. 📦

• Manage potential disputes with suppliers.

Outbound flow management and delivery coordination:

• Supervise the preparation and shipment of orders to our customers' homes. 🚚

• Ensure the coordination and follow-up of deliveries to our internal and external customers.

• Ensure good communication between the kitchen, delivery people and customers.

Tracking the traceability of ingredients:

• Ensure the traceability of ingredients and preparations used in the kitchen.

• Ensure traceability data is compliant to meet food quality and safety standards.

👌 Skills and Experience:

• Experience in supply chain, logistics or inventory management is desired, ideally in the food sector.

• Desired experience in team management

• Good command of computer tools and stock and order management software.

• Knowledge of HACCP rules and quality standards in food production is a plus.

• Speaks French fluently (Dutch is a plus).
