Controller / Auditor Sustainable Certifications

As part of the reinforcement of our team, we are currently looking for a Controller / Auditor (Sustainable Certifications (Bio,...) in the Brussels Region.

YOUR FUNCTION

You will join a team of almost 30 inspectors whose main mission is to carry out different types of controls on BIO operators among others, with the aim of assessing the compliance of their activities with the regulations in force.

You are one of the guarantors of the independence and impartiality of the first organic inspection body in Belgium.

More concretely, your main responsibilities are :

• You prepare and carry out audits and controls in the field , mainly with agri-food companies, but also with farmers or points of sale

• You take samples

• You will write control reports and ensure their follow-up

• You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of control methods

• You develop long-term relationships with operators in your region through your availability, expertise and active listening

• You give information sessions or participate in industry meetings on behalf of Certisys

• You have a BAC or a MASTER's degree with an agri-food orientation, agronomy, agricultural management or equivalent.

• You are as fluent in French as you are in Dutch.

• You like to work by objectives and manage your time independently.

• The agricultural environment is familiar to you and the regulations on organic farming are ideally not unknown to you.

• You like to be in the field and you are easy to get along with

• You hold a B licence and are willing to visit our operators on a daily basis.

• You are recognized for your sense of integrity and your rigor.

• You ideally live in the area of your mandate.
