Job description

The Public Centre for Social Action of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert is recruiting Social Workers (m/f/x) under permanent contracts and replacement contracts, full-time at the BH1 scale of the civil service, with entry into office as soon as possible for its Department of Social Action, Front-line Social Service.

The role of this service is to ensure access to social assistance.

To do this, the Social Worker will be required to carry out the following tasks:

Welcoming, informing, advising and guiding people ;
Analysing the situation of people, their rights and needs in order to propose appropriate interventions by the CPAS through the writing of social reports;
To provide social support and administrative follow-up of files according to established procedures and within the framework of an adapted and transversal helping relationship;
Conduct social surveys (home visits, meet with stakeholders and collect the necessary data in accordance with legislation).

Profile

Conditions of participation in the recruitment :

Hold a diploma in social work.

Behavioural skills:

Be thorough, autonomous and versatile ;
Have a sense of organization ;
Demonstrate resistance to stress ;
Demonstrate a capacity for questioning;
Be able to build balanced and respectful helping relationships.

Technical skills:

Have a basic or in-depth knowledge of social legislation (Organic Law of the CPAS - 07/08/1976; Law on the assumption of responsibility for assistance granted by the CPAS - 04/02/1965; Law on the Right to Social Integration - 05/26/2002);
Know how to use office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Additional advantages:

Have knowledge of Dutch and be in possession of the Selor language certificate, corresponding to your level of Dutch.
