
Lecturer in Nuclear Engineering
Job description
As a guest lecturer in nuclear engineering, you will contribute to the development of the mechanical, thermal and energy axis in our training offer to prepare future engineers to understand the challenges of the civil nuclear field. You will be involved in the " Sustainable energy " teaching unit and will be involved in the " Nuclear Energy " sub-activity. 👩🏫
With our young and dynamic teaching team, you will implement innovative learning pedagogical methods in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, on the UCL campus a stone's throw from the Alma metro station; all integrated into a transformation of our curriculum in order to meet the socio-ecological challenges to be met in the years to come, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals decreed by the UN.
The energy context is changing rapidly at the moment, so you will be required to participate in the evolution of our training offer in relation to the field of energy. 🌟
👉 Your main activities will be as follows:
Design and deliver courses and practical work related to your field of expertise, using innovative teaching methods adapted to students.
Contribute to the development of ECAM, by making your expertise and skills available to support students in their projects.

You work in the nuclear industry and you want to share your knowledge through a teaching intervention.
You enjoy working in a team, continuously learning and sharing your knowledge.
You are fluent in English.

Knowledge of the context of nuclear power generation in Belgium.
Nuclear reactor technologies.
Nuclear physics.
Nuclear safety.
Fuel supply and nuclear waste management.
Development prospects.
