Job description

The IRIS Sud Hospitals are looking for an IT Application expert DPI (m/f/x) for the Information and Communication Systems Department at the Etterbeek-Baron Lambert site located in Etterbeek, under a 100% permanent contract.

Why we recruit

The new Electronic Patient Record (EMR) aims to centralise all information concerning patients' health, encompassing all aspects of their hospital journey, including medical and nursing aspects, drug prescriptions, as well as administrative and financial aspects. 

This IT solution helps meet the needs of users and improve the efficiency and quality of patient care . This system will be used by 1500 people and will be interconnected with many applications (pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, kitchen, etc.).  

We are continuing our project to implement the DPI. The new EMR has already been implemented in outpatient services. The objective is to deploy the system in the inpatient units. To do this, we need you!

 What the job consists of

  • You will drive changes related to the implementation and use of the CIO to support the overall IT strategy of our IT department.

  • You train and guide our internal teams to effectively integrate EHR into their daily practices.

  • You collect the needs of internal users and write specifications for future improvements.

  • You set up and configure the EHR according to the specific needs of the hospital.

  • You plan the development and improvement phases.

  • You ensure the implementation and a good understanding of the changes in the PGD.

  • You create synergy with all stakeholders, whether internal development teams or external suppliers

  • You supervise the tests and ensure the deployment of new features.

  • You will contribute to the creation of documentation and training materials for our teams.

  • You will accompany in the field in close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, non-medical experts such as our IT specialists, while providing valuable support to users to ensure optimal management and use of the EMR.

  • You will report on the activity.

⦁ You join a supportive DPI team, where each member has his or her own specializations: 

⦁ Mehdi and Imen (Physician Coaches) 

⦁ Joëlle, Isabelle, Claire, Elodie and Valentine (DPI employees)

⦁ Your workspace will be in an open space on the Baron Lambert site in Etterbeek, shared with the DPI team.

⦁ You will be required to travel to the different sites during the deployment phase.

Your technical stack

  • XCare, H+, HL7, SQL, XML

Profile

Your training : Baccalaureate or Master's degree, ideally in computer science.

Your experience and knowledge:

  • Experience in a hospital environment, good knowledge of nursing, medical, paramedical activities and legal frameworks.

  • Experience in parameterization and deployment of IT tools such as DPI.

  • In-depth knowledge of XCare and H+

  • Knowledge of HL7, SQL, XML, and IT Service Management (ITIL, Ticketing).

  • Global technical vision to solve problems.

  • Ideally, good knowledge of the second national language.

  • Customer orientation and active listening: Understand the needs of users in the field while remaining pragmatic to adapt the EHR while ensuring that the tool is ergonomic.

  • Discretion : Handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.

  Remuneration based on the IFIC 16 scales with resumption of the seniority useful to the function:

  • Min: €3794.82 (index 2.0807)

  • Max : €6088.10 (index 2.0807)
