Job description
At Les Petits Riens, we develop social economy activities such as the collection, sorting and sale of second-hand goods to support our social actions, particularly with regard to accommodation, housing and front-line social services. These activities also offer training opportunities to our target audiences in the process of socio-professional integration because they have moved away from the job market.
It is with this in mind that the sales department currently has around twenty stores spread across the Brussels region as well as in Wallonia and Leuven. To develop the sale of textiles in our central store located on Rue Américaine, we are recruiting a Site Manager
✨ Your mission:
In direct contact with the Area Manager, you will ensure the complete management of the central store, with particular attention paid to the organization, the commercial dynamics, and the team management.
In your role as manager, you will support and grow the teams to guarantee pleasure at work and optimal performance in a framework that respects the values of the non-profit organisation
You are responsible for achieving the human and commercial objectives defined by the management in accordance with the commercial policy of the Social Economy department.
Your responsibilities :
🤝 Team management
Recruit, mentor, train and evaluate the heads of the site's departments.
Encourage the personal and professional development of teams to promote their fulfillment.
Coach the teams in the field and provide support adapted to their needs.
🚀 Commercial management
Energize the shelves and analyze the economic performance of the stores.
Propose and implement concrete actions to improve the results of points of sale in difficulty.
Supervise sales and collaborate with support departments (Merchandising, Marketing, etc.) to achieve financial objectives.
Be a driving force in the creation of local opportunities (events, partnerships) to increase the attractiveness of stores and turnover.
📝 Organization and operations
Ensure effective management of daily activities: inventory management, collection and security of goods and people.
Actively participate in local commercial events such as flea markets, fairs or flea markets, especially on weekends.
Ensure compliance with dedicated budgets and follow up on decisions related to the head office.
📣 Coordination
Play a relay role between the field teams and the central services.
Ensure smooth communication of economic, social and institutional information.
Profile
You are an inspiring and caring leader, capable of motivating your teams while being rigorous.
You have a social sensitivity, in line with the values of associations. 💛
You are attentive to developments in the second-hand market, particularly in textiles.
You are available to work every Saturday and participate in one-off sales events.
You have at least 3 years' experience in team management (recruitment, training, facilitation, evaluation).
You have a strong ability to analyze performance, propose solutions, and direct sales towards customer satisfaction. 📊
You have excellent priority and task management skills in a dynamic environment.
You are able to work under pressure while remaining solution-oriented.
You have a mastery of IT tools (Office 365 Pack).
Bilingual FR/NL (written and oral) is an asset.
