Job description

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following in the Finance department in Brussels:

  • Establish and control budget forecasts, provide accounting and non-accounting analyses to help clients manage their activities. 📊

  • Participate in the creation of the annual budget and update it during the various forecasts during the year.

  • Analyze variances between budget forecasts and actual results, and ensure that the budget is respected.

  • Prepare regular financial reports for the Directorate, including results, variances, trends and future prospects. 📝

  • Create analysis models to meet the needs of the management committee in terms of financial data management.

  • Develop budget projections, cost and return on investment analyses, and assist in decision-making.

  • Ensure the recurring activities of the management control department, control the analytical structure of expenses and their accounting allocation.

  • Propose corrective measures and new financial support to improve the management of activities.

Profile

  • You have a master's degree in management, finance, economics or management. 🎓

  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in management control.

  • You have a business orientation, good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

  • You express yourself in clear and correct French, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

  • You have the ability to interact orally and in writing with a variety of interlocutors.

  • You have a spirit of synthesis and are solution-oriented.

  • You are enthusiastic, curious, versatile, diplomatic and autonomous.

  • You have good accounting skills and advanced proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of BI tools (Tableau) as a plus.
