
Student - Reception of visitors in high season (weekends)
Job description
The non-profit organisation Pro Velo develops personalised solutions to facilitate and strengthen the transition to cycling and thus contributes to a better quality of life.
🚴 ♀️ Main tasks
Within the dynamic framework of our association, your mission will be, under the supervision of a Pro Velo employee, to ensure the opening of Pro Velo to the public : to welcome and inform the public who use the various services of Pro Velo and to manage the sale and rental of equipment. You will be the first ambassador of our activities.
Reception of visitors: at the counter, by phone and e-mail;
Bike rental: contracts, explanations and verification of the bikes at the end of the rental;
Receipts and payments;
To provide information on Pro Velo activities, cycling routes in Brussels and Belgium, useful cycling equipment;
Monitoring of the schedule, encoding of statistics and satisfaction surveys.
🕓 Work schedule
Saturdays and high season holidays (from 1 April to 31 October) from 9.45 am to 6.15 pm.
You will work on average 1 weekend out of 2 or 3 on a work-study basis with one or two other students. A reduction in benefits is possible in June, during the exam period. Possibility of additional services on a one-off basis during the week, depending on your interest and availability.
Profile
Bilingual (French, Dutch);
Knowledge of English;
Solution oriented and customer approach, sense of contact, available and welcoming;
Team spirit; 🤝
Analytical and synthesis skills, good writing skills;
Autonomous, organized and rigorous;
Concerned by active mobility and environmental issues.
