💪 Your mission

You mention the location of Brussels, whose main missions are :

  • Information and advice to the public ;

  • The provision of bicycles and accessories ;

  • Bicycle repair;

  • The sale of bicycles and accessories.

In collaboration with the two reception officers and the team of mechanics, you will ensure a quality welcome for visitors to our Brussels bike shop. Your main missions are to inform our cyclist visitors or future cyclists about the various Pro Velo services and the sale of equipment. 🚴‍♀️

👉 Your tasks

  • Together with the team, you will ensure a high-quality reception of visitors in FR/NL/EN, on site, by phone and by email.

  • You manage the stock of bicycles and the sale of items (bike accessories, maps, books) and give advice to customers on routes and promote the activities of cycling associations.

  • You provide support in the management of bike rentals : preparation of equipment before the start of a rental, a guided tour, an event, sharing safety instructions related to the use of the bike, etc.

  • You are in charge of the administrative follow-up of contracts, invoices and computer encoding.

  • You will manage the cash register.

  • You provide support for all the actions carried out by the Brussels establishment.

📣 Conditions of employment (ACS conditions):  you are domiciled in Brussels, registered as a jobseeker who has been unemployed for more than 6 months (or 1 day if you are over 40 years old) and have obtained the CESS at most.

Profile

  • Your listening and your sense of contact allow you to offer a quality welcome and to collaborate with your colleagues at the reception and in the workshop.

  • You are interested in soft mobility and are able to communicate positively about cycling.

  • Your organization, your rigor and your sense of priorities allow you to manage the administrative aspect of the function in the best possible way. 📝

  • Autonomous and solution-oriented, you have a sense of responsibility.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or English.

  • You have a good command of Word and Excel. 💻

  • You have a good knowledge of the Brussels Region.

  • Flexible, you are ready to work on certain Saturdays in high season, in the evenings and on certain holidays.
