💪 Your mission
From the start of the Liège location, you will set up impact projects to support and facilitate the transition of individuals and communities to active and sustainable mobility. 🌱
You are responsible for the development and coordination of the activities of the Liège site, which radiates throughout the Province. In a context of changing mobility, you will contribute to the strategic development of this location and Pro Velo's activities in dialogue with the management and other managers.
You encourage, through a participatory approach, the involvement, well-being and collaboration of your teams.
🚴 ♀️ Missions Implantions Pro Velo
Each location – composed of a workshop manager, bicycle mechanics, reception and project managers – carries out the following main missions:
Reception and information for the general public at Pro Velo.
Sale of new and used bicycles and accessories
Mechanical workshop – repair for the general public.
Management of a fleet of bicycles: maintenance, fleet renewal, external rentals, etc.
Management and development of bicycle testing projects and services to companies, in collaboration with the other Walloon departments.
The establishment also has the particularity of having strong projects in the social and circular economy:
A circular bicycle sales program (CycleCare+) that guarantees the trade-in of the bike for up to 9 years after purchase through a maintenance plan.
In partnership with Step Métiers, as part of a socio-professional integration course in bicycle mechanics, we train in bicycle mechanics and then welcome trainees into our activities.
The team is made up of 7 people for the " service " part – 4 people for the workshop, 2 people for the reception/shop and 1 person for project management. In addition, the location serves as a basis for the development of training projects for cycling in schools, companies and adults for the general public. These are provided by a local team of educational officers (4 people for Liège).
👉 Your tasks
You are an ambassador for the non-profit organisation's corporate purpose, internally to your team and externally to the general public and partners. You carry and defend the societal vision of our association ;
You manage a portfolio of varied and interconnected projects;
You will ensure the transversality and deployment of Walloon projects at the Liège level and find the right balance between the Walloon strategy, the operational strategy and local realities;
You will preserve the quality partnerships already established with various local players (City of Liège, STEP Métiers,...) and continue to develop new sustainable 🤝 local partnerships
You bring the establishment to life as a central place for the actors of mobility and the transition to a social and circular economy;
You conceptualize, develop, supervise the launch, monitoring and evaluation of projects and activities, in line with Pro Velo's development strategy.
You participate in the reflections and strategic projects of the non-profit organisation with the staff of Managers and the Management (e.g . the increase in " saddle-in-the-saddle " training for vulnerable groups or the improvement of our environmental management at the level of Pro Velo);
You coordinate and supervise the team, in collaboration with the implementation workshop manager: coaching, planning, distribution, follow-up of tasks 📝
With the support of the HR department, you will monitor the evolution of the department's staff : recruitment, onboarding, development, evaluation and training ;
In conjunction with the other managers, you develop coherence and collaboration between your location and the other Pro Velo locations;
In conjunction with the local coordinator of educators, you develop collaboration and projects with the team of trainers in Liège ;
With the support of the communication department, you ensure the communication of the services of your location;
With the support of the Administration & Finance department, you manage the administrative and financial aspects of your establishment ;
You will report on the department's activities and activity reports.

You have a good knowledge of local institutions, policies and associations.
You have a good knowledge of Wallonia and more specifically of the Province of Liège.

A full-time or part-time permanent contract (4/5ths)
A gross monthly salary between 3624 euros and 4109 euros (full-time salary) depending on the seniority recognized in a similar position.
Meal vouchers of 7 euros per day worked.
28 days of leave per year (for a full-time and full-year basis).
Eco vouchers of 250 euros on the basis of a full year and full-time .
Reimbursement of home-work travel expenses (0.35ct/km for cycling – 100% public transport) and reimbursement of travel expenses for missions
