Job description

How do you get Brussels moving?

You will join the System Engineering team, whose mission is to define/apply systems engineering processes to construction and transformation projects of our metro/pre-metro network.

You are mainly working on the Nord-Albert Programme, with the aim of moving from the pre-metro to the metro on the existing section between Gare du Nord and Albert station.

What will your daily life consist of?

  • You manage the entire change request process within the Northern Albert Program.

  • You collect, analyze and validate the operational and technical requirements of the various stakeholders; you identify the internal STIB regulatory standards applicable to the project and have the technical standards validated for the transformation of existing systems; You integrate the whole into an overall structure constituting the specifications of the systems to be implemented.

  • You will produce interface and requirements traceability sheets.

  • You will analyze and participate in the acceptance of exported system requirements, validate their export and implementation.

Profile

  • Diploma: you have a technical engineering degree.

  • Number of years of experience: You have previous experience in railway or construction projects.

  • Language skills: you are fluent in French or Dutch; Operational knowledge of the other language is an asset.

  • Technical skills: reading architectural and building plans.

  • Key skills: perseverance, flexibility, ability to work in a team, good oral and written communication, analytical and critical thinking.
