Job description
In addition to its social activities, Les Petits Riens is a social economy enterprise active in the collection, valorization and sale of second-hand goods. These activities constitute a platform for socio-professional integration for people who are far from the job market.
The logistics department ensures the transport and storage of goods between our various sites (throughout Belgium). It is made up of more than 40 people and manages about twenty trucks.
In this context, we are looking for a Driver with a C h.f.x. license for a 4-month fixed-term contract.
Missions
Under the supervision of the Dispatcher, you will be responsible for:
The smooth running of the textile rounds which consist of emptying the clothing bubbles located in Belgium. These tours are carried out in teams of 2 people
The smooth running of delivery and collection rounds between our different sites
Active participation in the supervision of various profiles of your team: employees, volunteers, etc
The smooth running of the missions entrusted to you by being the ambassador of the non-profit organisation to the general public in general, to private or institutional donors in particular as well as to public and private institutions
Tasks
Carry out textile removal rounds
Carry out pick-up rounds at partners ' sites
Carry out network cleaning rounds
Carry out in-store delivery rounds (in Brussels and Wallonia)
Supervise a team of maximum 2 people with socio-professional integration contracts: volunteers, TIG/PTA, Art60
Ensure the safe loading, transportation and handling of transported goods
Profile
Be in possession of a C licence (with an up-to-date CAP, the BE/CE licence is a plus) as well as a digital tachograph card
Demonstrate knowledge of handling and stowage techniques, experience in moving and in furniture sales is an asset
Be in good physical condition (commuting, dust allergies, work pace, etc.)
Ensure the smooth running of the tour (achievement of objectives, respect of schedules)
Be able to manage a team and teammates (educator-trainer)
Guarantee that the vehicle is kept in good condition (cleanliness and maintenance) and comply with safety rules
Having a good knowledge of the roads of the Brussels region and its outskirts is an asset
Be punctual, courteous, patient and caring
Be flexible, autonomous and versatile
Be able to question yourself and accept constructive criticism
Have a social, multicultural and intergenerational fiber
Be able to identify problems and look for solutions
Adhere to the values of the non-profit organisation Les Petits Riens (respect, solidarity, responsibility).
Speak and write French and ideally make yourself understood in Dutch or English
Know how to respect the road regulations in force, know and apply the safety rules

Full-time fixed-term contract, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, ending on 30/09/2025
Work schedule from 6:45 a.m. to 3:06 p.m.
A salary defined according to the scales of Les Petits Riens
Meal vouchers of €8 per day worked
An RGPT allowance of €1 per day worked
3 days of extra-legal leave
The reimbursement of 100% of public transport or €0.35/km by bike/scooter or sector package if you choose the car for your home-work journeys.
