Community Nurse - Maison d'Accueil Prévôt

Fixed-term
Brussels

Job description

🌟 Context

The non-profit organisation Petits Riens plays a leading role in the fight against poverty and social exclusion in Belgium. The problem of access to housing is one of the most divisive facets of poverty. The association has set up reception facilities approved and supported by the COCOF - French Community Commission of the Brussels-Capital Region and which are brought together within the non-profit organisation Maisons d'Accueil des Petits Riens (La Maison Prévôt, Maison Parenté, @home 18-24).

The Maison d'Accueil Prévôt has 105 reception places divided between the main building (85 beds) and the 4 semi-autonomous houses (20 places) to accommodate men aged 20 to 60 who are in material and moral difficulty.

The accommodation of residents in a reception home aims at long-term social reintegration by providing them with a place to settle, rest and rebuild and by offering them individualized support, a place of actor in the house as well as collective activities.

The social reintegration of the Petits Riens in the reception centre involves the preservation and strengthening of autonomy and action; by building a daily life that makes sense and provides pleasure (training, work, volunteering, collective activities, etc.). While the individual work initiated with the residents allows them to recover their rights and stabilize their administrative situations.

To think about and build these sustainable solutions for the residents of its main building, the Maison d'Accueil Prévôt is looking for a Community Nurse for a fixed-term contract from 02/06 to 02/10/2025 on a part-time basis.
