Job description
We are looking for a Business Developer / Sales Engineer to offer digital solutions to farmers.
Microfarmap, powered by the non-profit organisation Farmap, is a digital platform for aggregating digital tools and services for the acceleration of the agroecological transition in Belgium. She is a member of The House of Agroecology asbl which aims to be the trusted third party for the agroecological transition of the Belgian agricultural and food sector.
Missions:
Use and develop a farmer customer file (CRM);
Prospecting the list of farmers in order to know their challenges on their farm;
Track and convert incoming leads into customers, advising them correctly on the digital tools and services offered ;
Engage incoming leads in demos. / video webinars that will be carried out with partner digital tools and ensure the follow-up of these potential customers to help them progress towards sales;
Deploy and use marketing and lead generation tools;
Participate in networking events and agricultural fairs to increase awareness of Microfarmap ;
Track opportunities in our CRM and ensure that data is up to date;
Interview (in writing with photo/video) current customers in order to use them as customer feedback;
Commercial reporting (key figures, identify levers for improvement, identify the most effective actions,...).
Profile
Business School student;
Strong interest in the ecological transition of the agricultural and food sector and more specifically in agroecology;
Excellent writing skills;
Fluent in French and English (oral and written). Fluency in Dutch is appreciated;
Interpersonal skills: interpersonal skills, organization and autonomy, strength of proposal, working in pairs;
Internship of a minimum duration of 3 months;
Possibility of doing your internship from home.
