Job description

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of product initiatives in collaboration with external IT teams, internal data teams and business teams. 💻✨ Your main role will be to ensure the coherence and feasibility of initiatives while ensuring optimal management of priorities and resources. You will contribute to the integration of solutions into business processes, while ensuring that external and internal teams work in synergy to deliver solutions tailored to market needs and strategic objectives.

On a daily basis:

  • Backlog management and prioritization: You maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on strategic objectives, business needs, and team capabilities. You ensure that each feature is properly described and aligned with stakeholder expectations. You are responsible for maximizing value creation based on available resources.

  • Coordination with IT and Data teams: You are the main point of contact between external IT teams, internal data teams and other business teams. You ensure that the solutions proposed by IT are realistic, achievable and aligned with business objectives while respecting technical constraints.

  • Stakeholder management: you coordinate the various internal and external stakeholders (IT, data, process teams) to ensure smooth and efficient management of the entire life cycle of initiatives, from the definition of the solution to the production launch.

  • Performance monitoring and adjustments: you will monitor the performance of the initiatives deployed in terms of business value, adoption and operational impact. You propose and implement the necessary adjustments to optimize performance.

  • Integration of initiatives into operational processes: you ensure that solutions are seamlessly integrated into the operational processes of teams such as customer service, agencies, etc. and that necessary operational changes are taken into account.

  • Challenge IT solutions: you ensure that IT proposals are realistic and that they meet technical requirements while remaining adapted to business needs. You don't hesitate to challenge the IT teams to guarantee the feasibility of the solutions.

  • Monitoring of the quality of deliveries: you validate that the features developed meet the defined acceptance criteria and the expectations of stakeholders.

Profile

  • Experience: You have at least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in managing product initiatives with a strong IT component in complex environments. Experience in consulting is a major asset.

  • IT and Delivery skills: You have a deep understanding of digital technologies and IT delivery methods, including Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban). You are able to communicate effectively with external and internal IT teams.

  • Backlog management and prioritization: You have significant experience in backlog management and prioritizing requests according to business needs and technical capabilities.

  • Coordination and communication skills: You are comfortable coordinating cross-functional teams (internal and external) and communicating with interlocutors at different levels in the organization.

  • Adaptability and problem-solving: You are able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and feedback from teams. You are also proactive in identifying and resolving issues throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Languages: you are able to work in French and English. Ideally, you also understand Dutch.
