Trainer Namur/Luxembourg (fixed-term contract 8.5 months)

To promote commuting, Pro Velo EDUC trains current cyclists in cycling and prepares new cyclists. The trainers provide training to a variety of audiences : schools, individuals (adults and children), companies, professionals in the education sector, associations.

👉 Your tasks

✅ In the provincial team

• You provide cycling training to children (in schools) for the majority of your time, and also to adults (in associations and companies), throughout the Province of Namur and Luxembourg.

• You will coordinate projects related to the cycling training activity according to the distribution decided in the team.

• You bring cycling expertise to the partnerships set up at the school level.

• You will contact and plan activities with teachers, principals and associative partners.

✅ In the regional team

• You will ensure the preparation of the training content by adapting it to the audience and to the evolution of techniques.

• You will participate in the design and experimentation of new teaching tools. You are in charge of evaluating and analysing our projects and, if necessary, adapting the content.

• You will write and participate in the drafting of reports for our partners.

• You provide support for all Pro Velo activities.

• You are a cyclist (good experience in traffic) and enjoy fieldwork. 🚴‍♀️

• You have a minimum of two years' convincing teaching experience (teaching, animation, internship, youth movements, etc.).

• You like to work with children (end of primary school) as well as adults.

• You are able to implement a differentiated pedagogy according to the audience.

• Enthusiastic, communicative, you have excellent oral expression skills, you are comfortable in public.

• You are flexible in terms of travel and are willing to work across the province.

• You are autonomous in your work and also enjoy teamwork. 🤝

• You have a good geographical knowledge of the province concerned.

• You are interested in active mobility and environmental issues.

• Having a B driving licence and a car is a necessity for the missions. 🚗
