We are a climate technology start-up located in the heart of Brussels, and we are excited to launch our first sales training program. This is a unique opportunity to be one of five interns in a six-month paid program designed to help you develop key sales and relationship management skills, with the option to transition to a full-time, performance-based role.
This role is part of an accelerated hiring initiative, bringing together a cohort of motivated individuals focused on expanding Tapio's reach through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships. As an intern, you'll work closely with an equally passionate group of people, collaborating to share ideas, tackle challenges, and advance Tapio's mission.
Our ideal candidates are:
Sales-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at making connections and fostering partnerships.
Proactive in identifying growth opportunities and comfortable taking the initiative to look for leads, make engaging presentations, and negotiate effectively.
Avid learners, willing to work in a team while fostering individual contributions and growth.
Passionate about climate technology and sustainability, with a strong desire to make an impact in a mission-driven company.
During this training program, you'll receive mentorship from experienced sales professionals, access to industry experts, and hands-on experience in the climate tech sector. As a member of our cohort, you will be supported in developing a strong foundation in sales, learning about customer engagement, identifying opportunities, and contributing to the revenue growth of a growing start-up. 🚀
We aim to fill these positions by the end of 2024, as Tapio is in a crucial growth phase with strong incoming demand. Profile
Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch.
Passionate about sales.
Experience in sales, partnership development or business development or equivalent.
Proven ability to build relationships and networks across the corporate and corporate landscape.
Strong negotiation, influence and consultative selling skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
Comfortable with data analysis and interpretation for sales optimization and strategic planning.

15-minute phone chat on December 2: A brief introductory conversation to get to know you and answer any initial questions about the position.
If the appeal is successful, we will send you a case to be processed between December 3 and 6. This short case study will allow you to demonstrate relevant skills in a practical context.
Join us in Tapio for a day on December 9 to meet the teams. You will have the opportunity to connect with various Tapio teams and learn more about their roles and contributions.
