🌱 Carbon advice:
Helping to assess and reduce clients' carbon emissions, with guidance from senior consultants.
Participate in the facilitation of climate workshops (e.g. Climate Fresco, Climate Puzzle) to raise awareness among stakeholders.
Support client engagement through presentations, Q&A sessions, and follow-ups, with mentorship from the team.
💻 Product Support:
Contribute to testing new features and prototypes for the Tapio platform, providing constructive feedback.
Help update and manage datasets, including emission factors and models, while learning key processes.
Support the development of new tools and templates to optimize customer workflows.
🤝 Training and partnerships:
Assist with the onboarding and training of customers and partners on the Tapio platform, with the support of the team.
Collaborate in the creation of educational materials (e.g., guides, e-learning modules) for clients and partners.
Participate in continuous learning initiatives to stay up-to-date on carbon sustainability methodologies and practices.
🤗 Team Collaboration:
Work closely with technical, product, and sales teams to improve the customer experience.
Support cross-functional projects and bring ideas to improve tools and processes.

Profile
We are looking for a Junior Carbon Consultant who is:
Aware and sensitive to climate issues, with a strong motivation to contribute to impactful solutions.
Passionate about sustainability and carbon management, with a desire to make a tangible impact on the environment.
Eager to learn and grow, with a proactive and curious mindset, ready to develop skills in carbon management and sustainability.
A team player with a collaborative approach, while being autonomous and able to take initiative.
Rigorous and organized, able to manage tasks with attention to detail and excellence.
A technology enthusiast, interested in the idea of using tools and systems for climate action.
💼 Skills and qualifications:
A master's degree or equivalent in a discipline related to sustainable development, environmental science, or a related field.
Some experience in sustainable development or climate-related projects, through internships, studies or entry-level positions (no minimum number of years is required).
Good knowledge or willingness to learn more about international carbon standards and systems, such as the GHG Protocol, the Carbon Footprint and the Science-Based Targets (SBTi).
Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and oral)
A good knowledge of Dutch (B2 or higher) is a big plus!
A strong desire to learn by doing and to grow in a dynamic start-up environment.
Comfortable working with data and analytics, or open to developing these skills.

Familiarity with greenhouse gas calculation tools (GHG protocol, Carbon Footprint, etc.)
