React Frontend Developer

👉 Job Description:

As a React Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in developing and improving our carbon management applications. 🌱 At a fast-growing startup that helps companies manage their carbon emissions, you'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment, focusing on creating high-performance and intuitive user interfaces.

🚀 Responsibilities:

• Frontend development: Design and develop new user features using ReactJS and TypeScript. Create reusable components optimized for maximum performance. Implement state management solutions (Redux, React Query) and effectively manage client-side caching.

• Integration and Design: Turn mockups and wireframes into high-quality code. Ensure a smooth and consistent user experience across the application. Set up responsive and accessible interfaces. Work with design systems and maintain visual consistency.

• Performance and optimization: Optimize application performance (load time, First Contentful Paint, Time to Interactive). Implement code splitting, lazy loading, and optimize React renderings. Implement PWA policies as needed.

• Technical collaboration: Work closely with the backend and design teams. Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions. Document components with Storybook. Help define frontend development standards. 🤝

• Testing and Quality: Set up and maintain automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) to ensure reliable functionality. Follow development best practices and quality standards. Participate in the configuration of frontend continuous integration.

• Innovation and Technology Watch: Stay up to date with the latest trends in frontend development. Propose and implement technical improvements to optimize the application. Participate in progressive technology migrations when relevant. 🧐

🔎 We are looking for:

• Awareness and sensitivity to climate issues, motivation, proactivity, excellence, rigor, appropriation and passion for tech.

• We are looking for someone who is eager to learn more, autonomous and able to take initiative.

• Strong frontend development skills with significant experience building applications using React and related frameworks;

• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases;

• Good understanding of testing principles and code quality;

• Knowledge of performance and optimization concepts;

• Familiarity with security protocols and authentication frameworks;

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other members of the development team.

✨ Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of frontend development experience with excellent JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS skills

• Strong experience with modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS Modules)

• Proficiency in state management tools (Redux, React Query)

• Experience with frontend testing and continuous integration

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs

• Proficiency in versioning tools (Git) and collaborative workflows

• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

• Sensitivity to best practices in web accessibility and performance
