Currently, we are looking for a Human Resources Manager for our Belgian branch.

You'll help us make a positive impact in the world by empowering Triodos employees to be their best selves.

How you will make a difference:

As Head of Human Resources at the Belgian branch (+/- 170 employees), you will be responsible for the HR team at Triodos Bank Belgium (2 employees) and a member of the Group's HR management team.

To this end, you will be the sparring partner of the local management team and contribute to the development of the group's strategic HR organizational objectives. In addition, you support all local colleagues in aspects related to human resources. You advise and coach local managers in their leadership and their interaction with their colleagues in the team within the framework of the HR policy lines. You ensure that your employees, managers and the organisation as a whole make it clear that Triodos Bank is a mission-driven organisation that acts on the basis of its values.

You are responsible for the correct and qualitative application of HR processes and ensure that they are organized efficiently. You are the designated contact person for various human resources questions. As a human resources manager, you support managers in achieving their goals. In addition, you proactively inform them about possible bottlenecks in terms of personnel and organization.

With your team:

  • You encourage your employees to truly connect with the values that Triodos Bank holds dear.

  • You recruit, develop and retain the type of colleagues who are passionate about their work.

  • You are responsible for the recruitment and selection procedures ; You view analytics and reports and manage the optimization of HR processes.

  • You participate in the development of the Group's long-term HR development plan based on the needs and objectives of the organization, and you are responsible for its implementation (annual evaluation process, employee personal development plans, training, talent management, succession planning, etc.).

  • As a member of the management team of Triodos Bank Belgium, you support the implementation of the local plan.

  • You are responsible for compensation and benefits, and you support related developments.

  • As a member of the employers' delegation, you are a member of the works council, the committee for prevention and protection at work and the trade union delegation.

  • You bring your HR expertise to projects and contribute to the effective achievement of project objectives within the framework of change and organizational processes.

  • Responsible for risk management and human resources compliance.

Profile

To succeed in this role:

  • You have a strong personal affinity with Triodos' mission, and you know how to convey it and translate it into everyday practice.

  • You preferably combine a master's degree with 7-12 years of general HR experience, with a good knowledge of several areas such as recruitment and selection, learning and development, talent management, compensation and benefits, etc.

  • You are very proficient in trilingual (NL, FR and EN), both orally and in writing.

  • You will be a sounding board for the company, you will communicate smoothly and transparently, and you will have a vision of the company. You approach work methodically and are strong in following up on your tasks.

  • You have a strong sense of initiative and think actively with the organization. You manage to take a position in the field and develop a long-term vision.

  • You are open to innovative solutions and have an affinity for the direction and execution of change processes, both at the organizational and individual level.

  • Based on a customer-oriented and problem-solving attitude, you know how to engage in dialogue with the various stakeholders in a smooth, efficient and binding way.

  • You have a good command of Microsoft Office.

  • You have a solid foundation in social legislation and you have experience in payroll and industrial relations.

Your future colleagues:

You will report hierarchically to the Group Human Resources Director and functionally to the Chief Executive Officer of Triodos Bank Belgium. The Group's Human Resources management team consists of 9 people in various human resources management positions in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Locally, you will manage a team of two colleagues: an HR business partner and an HR administrator.
