YOUR POSITION

You will be part of a team of nearly 30 inspectors. Your main task will be to carry out different types of checks on operators active in the organic sustainable processing sector in order to verify that their activities comply with the regulations in force. You guarantee the independence and impartiality of the first BIO control body in Belgium.

Specifically, you are responsible for:

Preparing and carrying out documentary and on-the-ground inspections mainly at food businesses, but also at farmers or retailers.
Sampling
Preparation of audit reports and their follow-up
Active participation in the constant improvement of control methods
Developing long-term relationships with market participants thanks to your availability, your expertise and your willingness to listen
You give information sessions and participate in meetings of the sector on behalf of Certisys.

Profile

YOUR PROFILE

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific field (agri-food, agronomy, chemistry or equivalent)
You are fluent in Dutch and have a moderate knowledge of English and French.
You like to work with objectives and manage your time autonomously
You enjoy working in the field and make contacts easily
You are valued for your integrity and your thorough and accurate approach
You have a driver's license B and are willing to be on the road often
Ideally, you should live in the region of your mandate
You are ready to travel to the Netherlands for audits
