Within the KaPP, a hospital unit welcoming children from 0 to 12 years old (30 day hospital beds and 5 day/night 🏥 hospital beds), you will play an essential role in the comprehensive and individualized care of children, confronted with various disorders such as anorexia, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attachment disorders, phobias, ...

Your mission is part of a systemic therapeutic project, where each member of the team contributes to the building 🧩, in close collaboration with the families 👧 👨 👩 👦 and external structures. The complementarity of your skills and those of your colleagues is the key to transforming suffering into concrete progress: children who are getting better 🌟, families who find hope ❤️

Your role: a diverse and challenging mission!

  • Therapeutic support for the child

    • To carry out care and interventions adapted to the specific needs of each child, including complex and atypical situations.

    • Contribute to therapeutic 🍎 meals to strengthen the bond with the child and his nutritional well-being.

    • Organize therapeutic activities and outings 🎨 in co-intervention with the educational team.

    • Participate in paediatric 🩺 consultations and weekly clinical reflections to refine the objectives of care.

  • Support for families and external partners

    • To support families, often confronted with complex situations, with kindness and active listening.

    • Maintain a strong link with schools 🏫, institutions and attending physicians to ensure consistent and coordinated care.

  • Multidisciplinary collaboration

    • Work hand in hand with an experienced and stable multidisciplinary team. Together, you combine your expertise to offer comprehensive care, combining care, pedagogy and creativity.

    • To ensure comprehensive care integrating the somatic and psychological aspects, by monitoring the clinical evolution of the children and detecting the signals requiring rapid intervention.

    • Bring your vigilance and clinical sense, including during night 🌙 monitoring, to meet the evolving needs of hospitalized children.

  • Welcoming and training the professionals of tomorrow

    • Share your knowledge and pass on your know-how to students on internships, thus contributing to the training of future generations of nurses 🎓.

Profile

📚 Qualifications and experience required :

  • You are in possession of a bachelor's or certified nursing diploma

  • You ideally have a specialization in mental health and psychiatry or pediatrics and neonatology

  • You have proven experience in the field of psychiatry or pediatrics

  • You have a perfect knowledge of French (level B2)

  • You are comfortable with computer tools
