Job description

The Public Centre for Social Action of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert is recruiting a Communication Officer (m/f/x) on a permanent contract, full-time, at the B1 scale of the civil service, with entry into office as soon as possible for its Communication Department.

🚀 Your mission :

As a Communications Officer, you will play an essential role in the management and implementation of the internal and external communication strategy. You will create and disseminate content to promote the Institution's activities and to inform the various stakeholders, both internally and externally.

What you will do on a daily basis :

📣 External communication strategy :

  • Create and update content on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and the CPAS website;

  • Manage digital media, such as internal TV channels for the residents of the nursing home, beneficiaries and employees of the CPAS;

  • Collaborate with HR to distribute recruitment advertisements;

  •  Implement KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communication actions;

  • Develop a network of external partners to increase the visibility of the Institution.

🤝 Internal communication strategy :

  • Act as a relay between management and employees to ensure a smooth dissemination of information ;

  • Regularly update the intranet and manage the internal newsletter;

  • Implement an SMS alert system for staff ;

  • Establish a crisis communication strategy and manage it as appropriate ;

  • Provide expertise to other departments in their communication initiatives.

💸 Budget management :

  • Monitor and manage the budget for communication actions to ensure optimal use of resources.

Profile

🔎 What we are looking for :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism or marketing ;

  • Experience : Significant experience in a communication department, ideally within a CPAS or a public institution;

  • Language skills : Perfect command of French, both oral and written. Knowledge of Dutch and possession of the Selor language certificate are assets ;

  • Digital skills : Proven experience in the management of CMS (WordPress, SPIP), social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and in the production of visual content (Canva).

  • Content creation and management: You know how to create dynamic and attractive communication media, both for social networks and for the website ;

  • Mastery of digital tools: You are comfortable with office technologies (Microsoft Office) and online content management tools;

  • Project management: You know how to organize, plan and manage priorities to achieve your objectives within the given deadlines.

  • Sense of initiative: You are able to make decisions and take proactive actions to improve communication strategies;
