Head of Sales and Marketing

Join Maison Dandoy, a renowned Belgian institution that has been specialising in biscuit crafts for almost 200 years. As Head of Sales and Marketing, you will play a central role in our success. You will oversee our various sales channels: cookie shops, tasting rooms, B2B, wholesalers and e-commerce. 💻

Your mission: to optimize sales performance by developing innovative strategies, maximizing customer loyalty and ensuring profitability. You will lead our sales and marketing teams with energy and creativity to achieve our ambitious goals. 🚀

👉 Missions:

📝 Business Channel Management:

• Track and analyze key KPIs: revenue, margins, conversion rate, average basket, retention, etc.

• Analyze sales results and adjust sales strategies to improve performance and be in a continuous improvement process.

• Be responsible for the commercial budget.

• Develop consistent pricing based on the commercial strategy, production costs and changes in raw material costs.

🤝 Management of the sales and marketing team:

• Lead, inspire and organize the sales and marketing teams, made up of about sixty people.

• Create team cohesion, promote a positive working atmosphere and strengthen collaboration between different departments.

• Actively participate in the recruitment of team members.

• Train, coach, provide feedback, and evaluate team members to develop their skills.

• Define and monitor individual and collective objectives.

✨ Development of loyalty and customer experience:

• Set up and monitor customer loyalty strategies via tools like CRM (Dandoy Family) and monitor metrics such as NPS.

• Ensure the continuous improvement of sales processes to optimize the customer experience on the different channels: biscuits (retail), tasting rooms (Horeca), B2B/wholesalers and e-commerce.

📣 Marketing and operational communication:

• Development of the sales plan and supervision of Maison Dandoy's omnichannel marketing strategy, in alignment with our business objectives and in collaboration with the management and the Marketing Coordinator.

• Management of the definition, planning and implementation of marketing actions and communication campaigns to highlight our offer, our rituals and the unique know-how of Maison Dandoy.

• Merchandising management, updating the product catalogue and communication media (POS).

• Development and management of events and partnerships to strengthen our visibility and image.

💼 Project management:

Coordinate and manage projects related to sales and marketing, optimizing internal processes to achieve overall performance and satisfaction objectives.

👀 Profile sought:

• You have solid experience (5 to 7 years minimum) in team management in retail and/or Horeca, with real field and operational expertise.

• You are a natural leader, able to federate, motivate and inspire your teams to achieve ambitious goals. 💪

• You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable with data. You know how to use them to effectively troubleshoot problems and optimize performance.

• You are extremely organized, with a strong focus on results and continuous optimization.

• Experience in B2B sales or e-commerce would be a valuable asset.
