For more than 190 years, La Maison Dandoy has been the iconic biscuit factory in Brussels, known for its artisan biscuits and delicious waffles. We celebrate simple pleasures with natural products, created with passion in our Brussels workshops.
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Employee for our tasting room, ideally located in the heart of Brussels, near the Grand Place. 🤩
🤝 What we expect from you:
Welcome and advise : Be the first point of contact for our customers. With your smile and enthusiasm, you will guide them in their choice from our delicious range of delicacies.
Promote our products and brand : Share your passion for our specialties, including waffles. You will also have the opportunity to pass on the history of La Maison Dandoy, by highlighting our heritage, our artisanal know-how, and the assets that make our brand a symbol of quality and tradition (Local, Artisanal, Organic, Family, B-corp).
Versatility on a daily basis : You will learn the different workstations: waffle preparation and baking, bar, room and takeaway service, cash register, cookie sales, dishwashing, etc.
Ensure fast and accurate service : Manage orders efficiently to provide a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
Ensure quality : Ensure that all products meet our quality standards, ensuring freshness and attractive presentation.
Manage inventory : Participate in inventory management by adhering to FIFO procedures and minimizing losses.
Maintain a clean work environment : Ensure that your sales space is always welcoming and well-organized, by regularly cleaning surfaces and tidying up inventory.
Profile
Customer service sense : You enjoy interacting with people and want to provide them with a memorable experience. ✨
Team player : Comfortable working collaboratively with your colleagues, while following the instructions of your store manager and retail manager.
Passion for products : An affinity for gastronomy and a curiosity for our delicious creations are essential.
Autonomy and organizational skills : You are able to manage your time effectively while maintaining high standards in your work. You are also comfortable with computers.
Flexibility : Ready to adapt to the needs of the store, with variable hours and availability on weekends.
Languages : Fluency in French and English (ability to make sales). Other languages are a plus.
Careful presentation : You pay particular attention to your appearance.
Experience in the HORECA sector : Previous experience is an asset.
