Job description

Relieve Furniture, a specialist in second-hand office furniture, is looking for a Logistics Assistant to strengthen our warehouse management team (currently located in Beersel and Brussels centre). Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, you will be an essential link in ensuring the smooth running of delivery, pick-up, removal, and inventory management operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with Deliveries and Pick-ups 🚛: Actively participate in the preparation and execution of deliveries and pick-ups at our customers' homes, guaranteeing a fast and efficient service.

  • Moves: Coordinate and execute furniture moves, ensuring product safety and protection.

  • Stock 📦 Organization and Storage: Maintain the warehouse organized and clean, following storage and inventory management procedures.

  • Logistics Support 🦾🛠️: Assist the Warehouse Manager in all daily tasks related to logistics and the warehouse: repairs, assembly, dismantling,....

  • Vehicle Driving: Use our truck (20m³) to make deliveries and move goods in compliance with road safety standards.

Profile

  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Sense of customer service and good presentation.

  • Ability to lift and move large loads. 📦

  • Availability to work staggered hours if necessary (in the morning from 7am).

  • A valid driving licence (B) in Belgium. 🚚

  • Forklift certificate is an asset (forklift operator training).

  • A first experience in logistics or stock management is an asset.
