 👉 Key responsibilities :

  • Technical management of projects

    • Support internal users (medical and caregiver) in the expression of needs, in conjunction with the Functional Project Manager or the Business Referent.

    • Analyze and challenge requests to ensure suitable, efficient and cost-controlled solutions.

    • Carry out or supervise technical studies: plans, quantity surveys, specifications, in accordance with standards (particularly hospital standards). Establish a precise provisional budget from the study phase.

    • Launch calls for tenders, analyse offers and select service providers according to public procurement rules or by mutual agreement.

    • Ensure orders, administrative follow-up and invoice control.

    • Coordinate the execution of the work, organize site meetings, control quality, safety and compliance with hospital constraints.

    • Organize the provisional and final acceptance of the work.

  • Scheduling 📆 management

    • Develop a detailed schedule for each project.

    • Ensure that it is regularly updated according to progress.

    • Communicate progress to decision-making bodies.

  • Monitoring and budgetary control

    • Define a detailed budget at the start of the project.

    • Update forecasts based on progress.

    • Manage discrepancies and arbitrate changes.

    • Track financial data in the department's ERP system.

    • Ensure regular budget reporting to the relevant authorities.

  • Document and administrative 📝 management

    • Compile a complete project file (plans, minutes, budget, schedule, orders, invoices, etc.).

    • Ensure administrative follow-up and reporting to the technical department and the hierarchy.

  • Safety of people and property

    • Integrate safety rules throughout the project (fire, technical risks, protective equipment, etc.).

    • Collaborate with the internal prevention advisor.

    • Comply with safety regulations and health and safety coordination on construction sites.

  • Contribution to the proper functioning of the department 👌

    • Actively participate in the dynamics of the technical team: staff meetings, information exchanges, cross-functional collaboration.

    • Promote team spirit and the sharing of experience. 

👉 Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Number of real estate files opened : between 5 and 20 projects of various sizes.

  • Size of the projects : between €10,000 and €50 million

  • Annual invoicing for these projects : > €3 million

  • Number of design offices and companies to be coordinated : > 10

Profile

📚 Qualifications and experience required:

  • Engineering degree or other interesting profile related to the construction industry

  • Experience in a hospital setting or in an environment with complex projects

  • Knowledge of public procurement

  • Experience in the study phase and in the execution phase of projects
