Job description
The Public Centre for Social Action of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert recruitsnurses (m/f/x), on full-time or part-time permanent contracts, on the CH2.1 or BH1 scale (depending on the diploma) from the public sector with a rapid entry into service for the Home Saint-Lambert and the Lise Thiry Short Stay service and care establishments.
The Home Saint-Lambert is located in a pleasant and green setting, opposite the Roodebeek Park. Approved as a rest home (MR) and a rest and care home (MRS), the establishment has a capacity of 130 individual rooms.
The Short Stay structure is an extension of the Home Saint-Lambert that allows the elderly to respond to the need for a period of convalescence and consolidation of their state of health after a hospital stay or a secure reception when the assisting spouse has to undergo hospitalization or when the family cannot take care of them. 🙏
To do this, the nurse will be required to carry out the following tasks:
Provide the necessary assistance and ensure the delivery of care within your unit :
Organize, control and evaluate the quality of the execution of care and participate in the execution of care if necessary
Manage nursing record keeping and the application of the care plan;
Participate in the processing and monitoring of all procedures (administrative and other); 📝
Welcoming and informing the resident and his or her entourage about care ;
Manage administrative files;
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with the different protagonists of other disciplines with whom you come into contact ;
Participate in the nursing home's quality approach and evaluations.
Profile
Conditions of participation in the recruitment :
Hold an A1 nursing diploma preferably with specialization or experience in geriatrics required. 🎓
Behavioural skills:
Demonstrate availability, punctuality and flexibility ;
Be concerned about the overall well-being of the elderly and the disoriented elderly person, their safety and respect for their dignity and appreciate the relational aspect;
Be rigorous and able to react with calm and self-control. Your rigour also applies to the follow-up of administrative files;
Be motivated and have a good team spirit and dialogue ;
Be a positive listener to all constructive improvements ;
Technical skills:
Be respectful of the ethics and instructions in force in the house ;
Respect the confidentiality of the information processed or communicated ;
Have a very good knowledge of French.
Assets:
Experience with the elderly and knowledge of the Care Plus computer program as well as Outlook and Word ;
Be in possession of the Selor language certificate, corresponding to your level of Dutch.
Opening hours :
Variable hours from Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 3:00 pm or 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm) + service of one weekend / 2 (alternating an early weekend / a late weekend).
Recovery of the Saturday worked the week before and the Sunday worked the week after.
