The IRIS Sud Hospitals are looking for a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/x) for the Site Maintenance Service of the Infrastructure Department

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be an essential link in the hospital. By ensuring the maintenance of the infrastructure as well as that of the facilities, you will contribute directly to the quality of care, the optimization of the facilities and the overall performance of the establishment.
What the job consists of
You will manage a wide range of installations from a technical and administrative point of view, ranging from electrical equipment (lifts, automatic doors, paid parking, access control systems) to sanitary infrastructures (medical gases, production of reverse osmosis and softened water, drains, teletubes, leak management), without forgetting outdoor spaces such as surroundings and gardens.
Your missions will include:
Manage technical maintenance projects
Anticipate and optimize infrastructure maintenance by identifying technical needs and proposing appropriate solutions (frames, roofs, etc.)
Write specifications to select external service providers
Supervise the execution of contracts (elevators, automatic doors, sanitary facilities, etc.).
Coordinate and plan interventions with external service providers, sector managers, site managers and care teams to ensure the continuity of hospital activities
Develop, organize and monitor the preventive maintenance plan to limit breakdowns and optimize equipment performance
Orchestrate repairs by prioritizing requests and forwarding them to technical teams
Manage contracts with approved inspection bodies (BTV, AIB, etc.), implement corrective actions and monitor the lifting of remarks
Continuously improve facility performance: Identify the causes of malfunctions and deploy sustainable solutions
Participate in the financial management of projects: Prepare annual budgets, analyze offers, negotiate prices, compare proposals and validate purchase orders and invoices
Organize technical documentation: Maintain up-to-date plans, manage procedures and inventories
Guarantee the reliability of the installations: Deploy and apply maintenance procedures on our 4 sites, both preventive and curative, to ensure the performance and safety of the technical infrastructures. (low-voltage installations, medical gases, emergency lighting, fire protection, etc.)
Maintain a clear view of the equipment: Update the inventories of technical installations (electricity, sanitary, medical gases, etc.) for optimized management
Take part in callable on-call (1 week every 3 months, 24 hours a day): act as the first point of contact for technical emergencies and, if necessary, coordinate actions with technicians or external companies

Your manager will be Driss Chakroun, Head of the Technical Maintenance Department
You will join the Technical Maintenance team made up of 20 colleagues who hold the position of sector managers, engineers, technicians or secretary
Your office will be located on the Etterbeek-Baron Lambert site and you will be active on the 4 sites of our hospitals

Profile
Let's talk about you
Your training : You have a Master's degree in electromechanical, electrical or construction engineering, or a similar field
Your experiences and knowledge
You master the technical aspects related to infrastructure (electricity, sanitary facilities, etc.)
You have a good knowledge of administrative processes such as managing contracts, budgets, purchase orders, invoices, etc
You have a solid knowledge of the RGIE (General Regulation of Electrical Installations) and the Code of Well-being at Work, allowing you to guarantee the compliance of installations and equipment
You have experience in the rational use of energy, thus contributing to the energy efficiency of our hospital facilities
You are familiar with the processes related to public procurement: calls for tenders, awarding, suretyship, provisional acceptance, final acceptance
You have writing skills, in particular for the creation of clear and precise technical specifications, essential for the selection of service providers and project management
You ideally have a good knowledge of Dutch

Analytical and negotiation : You compare, verify and negotiate quotes in order to obtain the best financial conditions for the institution. You analyze each proposal with a critical mind and question the offers if necessary to maximize economic efficiency

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, flexible between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (7:36 a.m./day excluding breaks)

Remuneration on the basis of IFIC 17 with resumption of seniority useful to the function :
Min: €4102.90 (index : 2.0807)
Max : 6299,55€ (index : 2,0807)
