Job description
Today, we are looking for a Facilities Assistant in 4/5th to join our team in Brussels on a permanent contract.
How you will make a difference within the team:
By making the office a friendly workplace!
You will participate in operational tasks, in close collaboration with the Facilities Manager, in the following areas:
General Facility Task Management:
Maintenance and supply of office supplies
Coordination and follow-up of deliveries/repairs/...
Helpdesk for the coordination of installations
Internal communication about facilities (including on the intranet)
Management of the cleaning team (external)
Participate in the development and maintenance of facility policies, procedures and work instructions
Office and building management: from the purchase of office supplies to tenders for new suppliers
Local environmental management :
Recording and reviewing annual energy consumption
Mobility management:
Operational management of the vehicle fleet and promotion of alternative modes of transport
You will participate in the implementation and maintenance of the company's vehicle management tool
Security Management:
Building and Access Security Management
Security team member: evacuation, first aid, etc.
You will also have a role to play in the logistics of organizing events, whether internal or external
Profile
To succeed in this position, you will:
Have at least a high school diploma. A first experience is an asset
Be fluent in English and fluent in French or Dutch
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technologies
Be proactive and have organizational and time management skills
Have a sense of service and a welcoming attitude
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Be pragmatic and solution-oriented
Adapt and grow in the function, focusing on facilities management tasks
