We are looking for a passionate nurse to optimize the care of our patients at the Genetics Center. If you are motivated by the idea of offering quality social support while providing clinical, medical and administrative support, this opportunity is for you! ✨

💼 Part-time permanent contract (50%)

👉 Your main missions:

1. Coordination of genetic consultations 🧬

Analysis of medical records and contact with patients.
Accompaniment and psycho-social support during consultations.
Data management and coordination of exams and appointments.

2. Social Work Related to Genetic Care 🤝

Facilitation of access to care by taking into account the constraints of patients.
Referral to social resources and post-hospitalization support.
Collaboration with external structures and socio-professional reintegration.

⌚ Schedule of 19h/week distributed as follows :

Monday: 09:00 to 13:30
Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 45-minute break
3rd day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. preferably on Friday, but debatable.

Profile

📚 Qualifications and experience required:

You have a degree in Social Nursing or Community Health.
You have at least 5 years of practice in a hospital environment or experience in organizations providing primary or second-line care (CCSAD, care structures, etc.).
You have a good general knowledge in the field of legislation relating to social law and Belgian social assistance.

🚀 Essential skills:

You are interested in the " systemic " approach to patient care.
You integrate the social dimension into the (multidisciplinary) care of patients.
You are a facilitator of intra-social service and inter-business communication
You are curious about mind and concerned about ongoing 👀 training
You regularly highlight the global and contextual analysis of the situations entrusted to you
You demonstrate the ability to adapt and manage crisis 🤝 situations
You have a good capacity for introspection and questioning
