Job description

As a Product Owner within our Digital Transformation team, you will be responsible for defining the product vision and maximizing the value delivered by the development team. Your essential role will be to orchestrate the development process to ensure that the product meets the needs of the market while adhering to Agile principles. You will actively contribute to the creation of innovative and quality products.

On a daily basis:

  • You define the product vision by collaborating with stakeholders to understand market needs, defining a clear vision for the product, and effectively communicating that vision to the development team and other stakeholders.

  • You build and maintain the product backlog by prioritizing features based on business value and ensure complete and clear documentation of backlog items.

  • You work closely with the development team to plan iterations and releases and prioritize features based on market needs, customer feedback, and strategic goals.

  • You are the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team and actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

  • You ensure the quality of deliveries by validating that the features developed meet the defined acceptance criteria.

  • You are in charge of monitoring the performance of the product: you define the relevant indicators and monitor and analyze the results of the delivered elements. 

  • You maintain continuous communication : you provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the product and are transparent about changes in priorities and backlog adjustments.

Profile

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience , including 2 years in a similar position.

  • You have a Master's degree (Marketing, Communication, Management, etc.) and the PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) certification is a plus.

  • You have a thorough understanding of the product domain, user needs, and the competition.

  • You have hands-on experience using Agile methodologies, especially Scrum or Kanban.

  • You are able to clearly articulate the product vision and communicate effectively with the members of the development team and the various other stakeholders.

  • You have the ability to prioritize features based on business value and strategic objectives.

  • You are able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and customer feedback.

  • You are committed to achieving the goals of the product and the organization.

  • You have a basic knowledge of the technologies associated with the product to facilitate communication with the development team.

  • You are able to work in both French and English.
