Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist:

• You process and combine structured and unstructured data of different kinds to develop innovative solutions that meet the identified needs of companies and open up new possibilities.

• You evaluate, validate and produce your developments, in collaboration with the colleagues concerned.

• You interact with your team members (POs, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, RPAs) to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are implemented effectively. You actively participate in the (agile) life of the team.

• You collaborate with other colleagues as needed (architect, DPO, DevOps, business, etc.). In this way, you ensure that your developments are compliant, you develop the knowledge of your colleagues and you identify new opportunities.

• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's working method, by defining and ensuring the use of best practices in various areas such as documentation, (ML)Ops, software engineering, monitoring, collaboration, etc.

• You have fun collaborating with amazing colleagues and discussing exciting work-related topics.

• You have a master's or doctoral degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics or data science. Regardless, regardless of your background, you have a strong affinity for data and computing, as well as a strong analytical mind.

• You have at least 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist / ML Engineer, and at least 3 years of experience extracting insights from unstructured data (text and image). In particular, you have successfully deployed large language models to solve real-world business problems.

• You are fully comfortable with the main principles and algorithms of ML/AI and have experience in developing ML models from structured data.

• You have experience developing and maintaining such assets on AWS. You have a perfect command of Python. Knowledge of SQL is an asset. Hands-on experience implementing MLOps best practices is an asset.

• You have a strong work ethic, you can work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds (data engineering, data translators, data analysts). You're not afraid to be proactive when it comes to choosing a technical solution or proposing new directions to explore. In other words, you contribute to our team's goal of being an inspiring force for our colleagues and the company.

• In addition to your technical skills, you enjoy solving real-world problems. You are creative but pragmatic when it comes to the use of AI and you are also able to explain complex topics in clear and simple terms. You are also curious about the latest developments in the field of AI.

• You have a perfect command of English and French in the field of business. Dutch is an asset.
