Job description

On a daily basis:

  • You develop and optimize Python scripts to automate the extraction of data from multiple sources (databases, web services, applications).

  • You design, build, and maintain APIs, focusing on continuous system integration.

  • You work with an event-driven architecture to trigger automated workflows using technologies such as Kafka, AWS SNS, AWS Kinesis, or similar.

  • You manage the transformation and transfer of data in different formats (e.g. JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet) for batch and real-time processes.

  • You ensure efficient data integration between multiple systems using ETL pipelines.

  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, data scientists, etc.) to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

  • You implement solutions using AWS services (e.g. S3, Lambda, EC2) to support cloud-based automation and deployment.

Profile

  • You have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other related field and have 3 years of experience.

  • You have a strong background in Python development, especially in the area of scripting and automation.

  • You have hands-on experience developing and integrating APIs, including building APIs from scratch, and are familiar with data integration and transformation processes.

  • You have experience using batch processes for querying and data transfer.

  • You are proficient in data formats such as JSON, XML, parquet and CSV.

  • You have knowledge of AWS, especially around technologies such as Lambda and data storage solutions such as S3.

  • You have experience with version control systems like Git, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus, and familiarity with RPA tools (like UiPath) is a plus but not necessary.

  • You have excellent communication, teamwork and work in a fast-paced and fast-paced environment, and you are fluent in French and/or English (oral and written).
