Job description

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst Trainer to join our team and help foster a culture of data literacy within the organization. In this key role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our data literacy strategy, empowering junior data analysts, and contributing to the advancement of data-driven initiatives. 👉 Main Responsibilities as a trainer :

  • Strategy & Implementation: Define and maintain the data literacy strategy for the organization. Ensure consistency and uniformity across the company by supporting its implementation and keeping the guidelines up-to-date.

  • Training Design & Development: Identify training needs for onboarding Junior Data Analysts and create tailored training modules aligned with the company's strategy and the needs of the Data Community.

  • Tool & Knowledge Enhancement: Assess and address knowledge gaps, propose improvements, and ensure training materials and tools evolve with the company’s needs.

  • Coaching & Progression: Provide hands-on training and support to help junior analysts become competent and independent. Develop a system to track progression and knowledge validation.

  • Integration & Monitoring: Coach and guide new data analysts during their integration process to meet organizational requirements and maintain high performance.

  • Data Community Contribution: Play an active role in managing the Data Community, promoting data literacy standards and encouraging adoption.

👉 Secondary Responsibilities as a Data Analyst:

  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver projects and continuous improvements, translating business requirements into data-driven solutions.

  • Assist data product owners with data exploration and analysis to support their initiatives.

  • Address data requests from business teams, presenting insights through easy-to-understand dashboards, tables, or charts while ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.

  • Analyze data requirements, assessing data quality and availability at project initiation, ensuring data suitability and addressing any complexities.

Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Management. 🎓

  • Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, with a focus on coaching or teaching.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data models, database design, data mining techniques, and tools such as SQL and Tableau. Python knowledge is a plus. 💻

  • Governance & Ethics: Solid understanding of data governance, ethical use of data, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act).

  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to organize, analyze, and communicate findings. Strong attention to detail and the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • Multitasking & Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, working efficiently under pressure.

  • Languages: Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
