Job description

As a Social Service Team Manager, you will be in charge of the operational management of your team, guaranteeing the quality, productivity and well-being of employees, while ensuring alignment with the department's and the company's strategy. You will play a key role in supporting your team to achieve the objectives set and to ensure continuous adaptation to the constantly changing context. 🌟

👉 On a daily basis: 

  • You will participate in the implementation of the strategy in the field in your department and break down the strategic objectives into team objectives, while providing a clear framework.

  • You will develop the missions and activities of your department according to the evolution of customer needs and the company's strategy.

  • You define, monitor and analyze key performance indicators in order to manage your department's activities and identify opportunities for improvement, while keeping the customer at the center. 📊

  • You lead and manage your team by ensuring its smooth running through an efficient organization of work, by distributing tasks and by planning the necessary technical, human and financial resources.

  • You unite your team by giving meaning and you support it collectively and individually so that everyone can develop the necessary skills and achieve the defined objectives .

  • You ensure the well-being and fulfilment of your employees. 💙

  • You integrate transversality by taking into account the needs of other teams in your decisions and by ensuring that you create dynamic networking links within and outside your department (agencies, local associations, etc.).

  • You take charge of yourself by getting involved in a program to develop your managerial knowledge and skills.

Profile

🎓 Mandatory criteria:

  • You have at least a bachelor's degree in social work with proven experience in the psycho-medico-social sector of at least 3 years

  • You have a solid experience in team management of at least 3 years, in foreign exchange and/or coaching.

👌 Your profile as a Social Service Team Manager

  • You are a born people manager and know how to energize and manage a team of about fifteen employees

  • You like to get involved in projects related to Personal Care : you ensure their coordination within the department or your department and guarantee their implementation in your team.

  • You are a force of proposal and like to work in a team, you are able to take into consideration the points of view of others to co-construct solutions. 🤗

  • You are organized, you are not afraid of changes and you show a good ability to adapt in a constantly changing context.

  • Results-oriented and familiar with the notions of SLAs, KPIs and figures, you demonstrate an analytical capacity allowing the monitoring of performance and proposals for continuous improvement

  • You have a good knowledge of basic office software : Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 💻

  • You are French-speaking and have great ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as to establish a climate of trust with your interlocutors.

  • You are flexible and can easily move around the different sites in your area as well as in Brussels.
