Data Analyst/trainer (Out of the box)

As an experienced Data Analyst/Trainer - Out of the box, you play a central role in a strategic initiative to increase data literacy within the organization and in the implementation of a BI Self-Service. You'll also help advance our organization's data-driven initiatives by leveraging their proven expertise to deliver actionable insights and support informed decision-making across enterprise teams.

💻 Your main responsibilities as a trainer:

The key strategic initiative is organized in cycles. In the cycles:

• You play a key role in working with other experienced profiles in the Data Department (DAnA) to define data guidelines, data literacy strategy (data understanding, best practices for creating dashboards, data storytelling and best practices in data mining, data cataloging) for the entire organization and help operationalize the strategy within the community data.

• You support Partenamut's junior data analysts with guidelines, help them translate business requirements, delineate scope, evaluate quality, results, etc.

• You have strong organizational skills to structure the company's demands and help your junior colleagues be effective.

• You lead best-practice sessions within the data community.

📊 Your secondary responsibility as a data analyst: 

When primary responsibilities require less attention:

• You participate in the delivery of continuous improvement projects and initiatives as part of a cross-functional team and work with business stakeholders to prioritize and translate their information needs into data needs.

• You help data product owners explore data.

• You help the company meet its data demands and structure the results in easy-to-read and easy-to-maintain lists, tables or graphs/dashboarding, in line with your customers' information needs and GDPR regulations.

• You analyze data needs by assessing the availability, quality, and understanding of data at the beginning of the project to determine whether the data is fit for purpose and its degree of complexity.

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, or information management.

• You have proven professional experience as a data analyst or business data analyst (minimum 5 years).

• You have a proven track record in coaching/teaching, as you need to contribute to the development of the skills of the junior data analyst team.

• You have technical expertise in data models, database design development, and data mining techniques.

• You have a solid knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, etc.) and reporting software packages (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Python programming is an asset.

• You have strong analytical skills and are able to collect, organize, analyze and present results, disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• You have good communication skills in order to increase adoption by the company's stakeholders.

• You have a strong work ethic and skills that allow you to juggle several different requests for information with ease and composure.
