You define and implement the Data/AI strategy in line with the Company strategy: The manager must ensure that the teams organization, data/AI strategy and projects align with the broader business objectives and company strategy. This involves ensuring that the business and the technical agendas converge and that teams within the whole department work on the right data/AI-driven solutions that provide value to stakeholders.
You are in a cross-functional Collaboration within the department: The manager is in close collaboration with the digital transformation manager, her / his technical counterpart and with our Agile PMO to ensure a common direction, coherence in functioning of all teams and provide common guidelines.
You are in a cross-functional Collaboration with other departments: The manager should foster collaboration between the digital and AI transformation department and other departments (e.g., operations, process improvements, Marketing, Finance, HR, …) in order to build smoother collaboration. This involves defining common approaches and more effective communication strategy, facilitating knowledge sharing, and encouraging that data insights are integrated into decision-making across the organization. Additionally, support departments in the challenge to increase data literacy, extract maximum value out of data and appropriation of AI tools.
You are responsible for prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic importance in order improve the functioning of the department or business relations.
Team Development and Leadership: This includes coaching the 3 team leads in terms of people management, providing opportunities for professional growth, ensuring a productive/structured work environment, and addressing any team dynamics or performance issues. The manager also plays a crucial role in defining together with HR the recruiting and retaining talent strategy within the department.
Budget: The manager is responsible for setting the strategic direction needed for defining the department's Data & AI investments based on stakeholders’ needs/strategy. She/he leads the team in identifying budget requirements and oversees the ongoing monitoring of the department's budget.
SPOC in forums: The manager will represent the Digital & AI transformation department in strategic meetings/workshops in order to make sure that the department's needs are considered and also that the departments’ strategy is in line with new organizational developments.
Profile
You have a previous management experience : at least 5 years.
You have an important proven experience ideally of 10 years in one of these sectors: analytics, customer insights, strategy and management consultancy, digital transformation, technology.
You have good skills in providing guidance, support, and development opportunities for team members.
You have an ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, understand their needs, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships.
You are are able to articulate ideas, goals, and feedback clearly to various audiences.
You are able to set a long-term vision and align team efforts with organizational goals.
You have experience in change management.
You have a strong work ethic and a skillset geared toward business management and a strong will to understand the inner workings of the business.
You have ideally an experience with defining data strategy but that's not a must.
You are fluent in French and English (verbal & written).
