Cloud Security Engineer

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will serve as a cornerstone in propelling our organization's data platform forward, enabling sustained business velocity. Leveraging their extensive expertise, they will deliver actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making across all business teams, driving efficiency and growth through data-driven initiatives.

💻 Daily : 

• You design and implement secure cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring security of the cloud infrastructure, data, and applications by applying security best practices and enforcing strong security configurations. 

• You work with internal and external stakeholders, including internal cross-functional teams and external security teams from IT and other entities, to align on cloud security measures. And you develop and implement security awareness programs to advocate for security risk mitigation and to build maturity towards DevSecOps practices within the organization.

• You administer the multi-account setup, to focus on governance, cost control, and access management while ensuring that security principles like least privilege are enforced across all accounts. 

• You are partner with platform engineering to add robust security controls into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for data products, ensuring security is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.

• You enhance security monitoring capabilities to have a centralized security monitoring to generate actionable alerts, to safeguard the AWS environment and the data stored from being infiltrated or attacked. 

• You oversee the operations of the Security Operations Center, including the development and execution of detailed incident response playbooks following industry best practices and tailored to the organization's specific business needs to ensure a swift and effective response to security events.

• You employ industry-standard frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or STRIDE to identify potential threats, assess risks, and align security controls to defend against them.

• You regularly conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses. Establish approval gates in the CI/CD pipeline, where a manual or automated check is required before critical vulnerabilities are deployed.  

• You have a Bachelor or a Master in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent by experience. 🎓

• You have at least 5+ years of hands on experience in the area of System Security.

• You have at least 2+ years hands on experience in AWS Security.

• You are AWS Certified Security - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional are strong assets.

• You are expert in API security, VPN, SSL Certificates is a must, Experience in DevSecOps, security by design, SSDLC, Networking is highly beneficial

• You are familiar with security standards like ISO/IEC 27001, DORA, NIST, and other cybersecurity regulations ISO/IEC 27001, security regulations, DORA, NIST, Cyber Security.

• You are self-starter, proactiveness, problem solver, teamwork, adaptability to support the fast-paced environment of cloud security and AI development 

• You are fluent in French and/or English (verbal and written).
